(For cheap!)
Skincare isn't always easy, especially if your brain is distractible like mine. That's why I try to keep it simple!

#1 Micellar Makeup Wipes
Sometimes? It just feels like too much work to wash my face. Hell, sometimes it's hard enough to even remove my makeup! But it's one of the most important steps you can do- CLEANSE. Whether you use makeup, sunscreen, or nothing.
My choice is these wipes from Burts Bees. Not only do they use micellar water (which is fantastic and easy on my sensitive skin), but this one includes rose water which is just chef's kiss. You haven't felt bougie till you've had rose water on your skin, m'kay?
#2 Toner
Again with the rose. But not only does this toner include that fancy detail, but it also includes witch hazel and aloe vera!
I have rosacea, so products that are soothing and yet powerful are so important, and this feels like it walks the line perfectly.
Oh, did I mention this one doesn't have alcohol?
#3 Snail Mucin
This is a less common one. Aaaaand... if you've never heard of this before, it probably sounds kind of gross. Yes, this is made from snail secretions. And yes, it is so SO worth it.
Again, I have rosacea and I used to have horrible acne scars as well as horrible acne. Snail mucin promotes skin-cell turnover and collagen production. If you don't know what that means, essentially it helps your skin heal and become more youthful.
And let me tell you. It is AMAZING. It has helped heal up my acne scars after I got off of tretinoin, and now it is healing up the hyper-pigmentation left it the scars place. Honestly a life-saver!
#4 Moisturizer with Sunscreen
Ask any dermatologist. They will tell you one of the most important things is SUNSCREEN.
Now, for some of us, this may not seem important. But trust me, you NEED IT. Take care of your skin.
Not only does this moisturizer include sunscreen, but it is lightweight. This means it's great across the board for people of all skin types- and especially good for oily skin like mine! Not to mention it's highly tested. Just check out the thousands of reviews on Amazon- it's CRAZY GOOD.
It's important to have reliable basics.
Not everyone's skin in the same, but almost all of us do have skin. And there are similarities. Snail mucin can be really good. Sunscreen can be even better. What do you use?
